Coast Forest Management Ltd. (CFM) provides general consulting services to the forest industry, First Nations and the government in British Columbia. CFM is managed and operated by Keith Atkinson, RPF (President and General Manager). The extensive forestry experience of the company’s personnel allows CFM to deal effectively with the special challenges associated with terrain, accessibility and timber values of the Pacific Rim coastal areas. Personnel include forest industry experts, registered professional foresters, Registered Forest Technicians, forestry engineers, GIS specialists, cruisers, silviculturalists and support staff. Consulting associates (see Links page) who provide supplemental and specialized services as required, complement this expertise.

Coast Forest Management Ltd. (CFM) was incorporated in 1982 by Gordon Atkinson. Gordon sought to provide general consulting services to the forest industry, government and First Nations. As a family owned company CFM originated its operations in 1982 in Victoria, B.C. and today has an office in Campbell River and Port Alberni, B.C. Over the years of operation CFM has established many relationships with First Nation organizations and in March, 2005 sold a 30% share equity of CFM to the Tseshaht First Nations of Port Alberni, B.C.
